    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course a long time ago, back in 2005 in fact. It's a huge lecture course so you will have an incredible responsibility over your learning, meaning you have to go to class and take notes, listen, email, and generally be engaged because it's easy to get lost in these large lectures. But, if you are a Crim or Soc/Psych major, this 100 level course is required of everyone. General overview that can be ascertained from material from the book and lectures.

    Course highlights:

Meeting other Crim majors and getting the needed foundation of the criminal justice world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and don't skip chapters--read, read, read!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There was more writing and research expected in this class. Also read the directions carefully, sometimes they are confusing.

    Course highlights:

Although it felt more like an english class, the material was good. The professor wasn't to picky about grammar as long as everything was spelled correctly.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read most of the course materials, at least until you get the concept then post to the discussions sections. The earlier you post the better.
