    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very very challenging course. Would most definitely steer clear if it can be avoided.

    Course highlights:

While I have a bad taste in my mouth for chemistry I learned a huge amount of it through this course with the basic ideas across various aspects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Group or small study sessions led by someone well versed in the material are invaluable.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the professor is easy to contact and helpful when answering questions. Also, it is a great starting point for people who have not taken a chemistry course before because everything is explained thoroughly in the lecture presentations and can be easily understood if you take the time to learn it.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned the basics of chemistry and most importantly, how to study effectively. In order to study effectively, it is important to go to GSS sessions not only the day before the test in order to grasp the information earlier so while you are studying, you experience less stress and anxiety from cramming the day the day before a big exam of final exam. Also, it is important to go to office hours in order to establish a good relationship with the professor because he now knows you personally, is willing to help with anything, can answer any question, and that for any professor, getting to know them will help you later in the course when you need help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study a couple of days in advance before any exams since this course is tough and it takes a lot of practice and memorization in order to get the concepts down.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is not to difficult if you apply yourself. Although the professor is not very good at teaching, you can definitely learn everything you need from the book.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were probably the homeworks because even though they were very difficult at times, it is were you do the most practical learning of the class since you apply your knowledge to actual problems

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your homework early because it will take you longer than you think if you procrastinate
