Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Rex makes this class very interesting; the content of theoretical perspectives in art was dry, but Dr. Rex's wit and humor makes it all the more interesting.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Rex's lectures; especially his side comments--absolutely hilarious. In this course, I learned about the different eras/movements in art, art styles, and basically the overarching question: "what is art?"

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Lectures aren't mandatory, but highly recommended, given that he gives bonus extra credit points for perfect attendance. Might even save a letter grade. Also, be diligent in regards to the readings; Rex goes over the material in class, but if you read it beforehand, you'll get the whole scope. Also, don't slack on the museum assignments; they're a pain, but they take time, so be patient.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall very understandable and easy class as long as you do the readings and take notes.

    Course highlights:

Just the style of teaching the professor had. I learned that what makes art art is when "they" say it is art.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the readings and take notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's not only fun, but interesting to learn. You tap into your creative side, a side that many individuals didn't know they possess.

    Course highlights:

Sharing your work would have to be the highlight of this course. It's a chance to showcase the work that was spent hours on. I learned how to use my imagination. I never thought I had one until I was forced to be creative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to come with an imagination. Let your imagination go wild. Overall, be prepared to have fun with your artwork.
