    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While this course taught me vital studying skills due to the large amounts of information to memorize, it did not succeed in teaching me much about outer space. The curriculum made interesting information appear dull by integrating too much math and by focusing on each topic for such a short amount of time. Everything was very rushed, and I spent the majority of class time very confused. I was extremely excited to take this course this semester, and I found myself disappointed. If you do not have a passion for math and numbers, I do not recommend this course. For a general education course, this class is very difficult.

    Course highlights:

As corny as it sounds, this course taught me a lot about the way I learn and the way I process information. I did not retain much of the course material, but I learned what I need to do in order to maintain a good grade in such a challenging course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss out on discussion sections. Take advantage of your teaching assistants, because I honestly do not believe that I could have gotten through this course without my TA.
