Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its the first class where I felt like I learned material that i'll actually use in the outside world. Learning about how machines are design made me feel like I had a useful skills to use when I obtained a full-time job.

    Course highlights:

You learn how machines are designed and the tests done on them to determine their limits. You test the stress levels applied to things like bolts and see how much they can handle. You then detemine the number of cycles in its life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Every chapter has many examples on a wide range of problems. If you do the examples and practice problems, the homework and test problems will come easy. Work piles up easy in this class so its best you stay on top of things.
