    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a fairly simple course. I enjoyed math when I was younger but slacked quite a bit in HS, I hadn't taken a math course in 11 years. The Math Connect helped tremendously, so I would recommend doing those practice lessons as much as possible.

    Course highlights:

This was more of a refresher course, opposed to learning something new. But I will say as far as learning something, I learned patience. I learned to be able to take the extra time to do more than what was required to be able to fully comprehend the course content. Take the extra time with Math Connect, it will all be worth it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, just take the extra time on Math Connect to really learn the material. There are so many lessons, and practices quizzes to do. It may seem redundant at times, but I promise you it is worth it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am not very good at Math, so I will try not to make this too biased. The professor was readily available at all times when I emailed her though. I am in a different time zone, so it was nice to not have to wait too long about questions on the assignments. Everything is done on mymathlab and there are weekly forums. There are several resources to help you along with the class so you don't get stuck.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about math and worked on my own personal time management skills during this course. The resources were very helpful and I found that using the examples during the homework assignments helped out the most.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the weekend to complete the assignments for the week, start out early so that you won't get too frustrated. Some of the weekly homework assignments are harder than other weeks. The class resources are amazing, definitely start navigating them on the first week so you can be ready when things get harder.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a lower level math course that is a requirement for most degree programs. I took the basic course instead of a higher one so that I could be reacquainted with algebra before tackling more challenging math courses!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to apply basic algebraic principles to real–life scenarios.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take full advantage of the resources provided to you within this course. There are several!
