    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a prerequisite for my History degree. I found the information to be relevant, but the overall posting requirements for the class were difficult. The Instructor had requirements that were not normal to an AMU class. Though the number of posts were pretty standard for AMU, I found the grading to be somewhat inconsistent.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the influence of popular culture on society, and seeing how media outlets and mainstream music have such an influence on our society. It was fascinating to see things from a "bigger picture" and to see how our culture and society are shaped and molded by the entertainment and art industries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in this class, it is critical that you read the syllabus and pay attention to the grading rubics. I went in originally assuming that the class would be similar if not identical to the other classes I've taken at AMU...this was not the case. Ensure that you do the weekly reading because the tests will feature questions directly from the reading.
