    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course and the instructor is very caring about her students. The course uses Connect which makes reading more motivating because you are actually interacting with the text. It also helped me retain the information. This class has a course project instead of a final exam which is nice because you get to focus on one organism and study it as well as observe it in your area.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the weekly forums and the course project. The weekly forums were very informational and the topics were always interesting. Getting to hear other people's opinions on the science related topics is fun. The course project was a highlight because it encouraged me to get out and observe the wildlife of the areas near my house, and it also allowed me to study the same organism for 8 weeks. Over this course, I learned a lot about general biology concepts, others thoughts on science related topics, and I learned a lot about the organism I chose for my course project as well as my classmates organisms because we shared our presentations with each other at the end of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start working at the beginning of the week and don't procrastinate. For the course project, choose an organism you really want to learn about, and one that you see often or could observe often near your house. Use your own pictures and research/observations for the presentation instead of pictures from the internet. Reach out to the instructor if you have any questions or problems because she truly does care about your success.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommended it because of the personal approach to the class, despite it being online oriented.

    Course highlights:

The basics of any subject is a foundation, and much like the cells of a plant or the body, it is necessary to build off of that to succeed further along that path. This class does that perfectly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Constant balancing, reading, personal research, and communication with the professor.
