Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Walls was great. Even though this was an online class, like all of AMU's classes, Professor Walls kept it interesting and was always available for help or guidance. He gave feedback constantly to let everyone know how they were doing and challenged them by asking for further evidence on certain topics. Also, if you needed private assistance with something, like a personal matter, he was very understanding and extremely helpful to work around you to help you complete your work and get the most out of the class still.

    Course highlights:

I had a very general knowledge of American Government before this class. I could not speak in depth about the election process, the electoral college or the different facets that make up our government. After this class, I could successfully do all of those things. It even piqued my interest further to continue on and learn as much as I could about what makes this country tick. I am completely engrossed with politics now, but in a healthy way that allows me to intelligently articulate to anybody what American government is.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions! It does not have to be on the public forum. It can be in private and he will respond in a very reasonable amount of time. Also, communicate with the other classmates often. You can learn a lot from other people based on their experiences and background.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is an opportunity to understand the structure of the branches of government more thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me, were learning things that applied to current events such as the elections. It was interesting to learn about certain lobbying tactics, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participation is key if you want to do well. Don't just do the bare minimum, and you should do reasonably well.
