    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only is this the introductory course for a career in Cisco networking, it is also an introduction to material you need to learn if you wish to take the CCNA certificate. Covers a lot of information at a fast pace, be ready to work!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to Subnet without the use of a Subnet Calculator. I learned how to set-up and manage a Cisco router and switch. Learned how to correctly make a CAT-5 cable, and how to wire up a network.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to spend a lot of time in the lab, and if you don't care about anything else, pay attention to the subnetting chapters and labs, that is the most important aspect of this class.
