    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning more about Computer Science. The book this professor uses is extremely interesting, has a lot of humor thrown in and though the book is a little older the information still holds true. The discussion posts are engaging and I would say most of the students are working either part time or full time, the homework fits within the allotted time that one would have while being employed.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were how Computer Software Engineering and Hardware Engineering work hand in hand. How did the first computer language came to be and what hardware it was paired with. The class goes over the pioneers and where the industry will be going.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always prepare with reading a few chapters of the book prior to the class. It will give a taste to what material will be covered. If the book is not available, search for "Introduction to Computer Science" and look for further resources that talk about the subject. Learn both the software and the hardware side to get a better feel.
