    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It does a great job of preparing you for your future career.

    Course highlights:

The Bottle Rocket Project was a fun one. The course teaches you overall how to be studious, a team player, and about the Design Process of Engineering.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work and don't just blow it off.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it really gives you perspective on the major before diving into it. I learned a lot and earned an internship out of a job shadowing I did for the class. The professor is great, too! But the pace is a bit slow and the class does not well prepare you for the exam.

    Course highlights:

This class earned me an internship, taught me the importance of my major and moral conduct, and introduced me to many of my peers!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Use this class as a learning experience. Yes, it can be slow and seem like nothing is going on at times, but it really does give a great foundation to the major.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class itself was really not something I, an engineering major, thought was necessary to prepare to become an engineer. It was really straight-forward and was not challenging. ENGR-106 is a class that I believe will challenge me and comes after this in the grand scheme of things during Calvin's engineering program; I took this class to advance to the other classes.

    Course highlights:

We did an amazing rocket design project that allowed us to learn valuable teamwork skills and how to design and test our inventions.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course it is valuable to understand that this course in particular has built-in work that is basically busy work. If you can complete the basic weekly assignments, you will most likely pass the class with an A.
