    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because this is the class that got me interested in Family Studies, which is now my major. This course is one that you can actually apply to your life, because everyone experiences relationships and experiences differently. It's interesting seeing different perspectives and hearing what other people experience.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course, and in my opinion the best highlight, was hearing about different familial relationships my classmates experienced. It opened my eyes to how sheltered I have been and how much I don't know about life. I learned the makeup of different families and how it affects individuals. I also learned how to build strong relationships and keep them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend taking it, especially if you are thinking about going into the Human Service field. Even if you aren't, it's a really fun and interesting class just to take as an elective. It's not the typical "core" courses like math or science. It's a different approach, discussing different topics you may have never discussed before.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

One of the best professors I've had. Highly recommend her for this course!

    Course highlights:

Because of the intructor's experience with her field and personal life, the information she said were not only educational, but entertaining. I learned a lot about the depth of a relationship and how it can effect a person from baby to adulthood.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to intructor when she talks! Although they may seem subtle comments, some are infomation that are not included in the slideshows and are vital to either fill in notes, scribble extra information, or advice to take to real life.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

No strong feelings. The course was generally pretty easy, you watched two movies, which took a full week each. PowerPoint lectures were fine, not very engaging.

    Course highlights:

Favorite topics for the course were discussing divorce, remarriage, and stepfamilies. The textbook and lectures brought some new perspectives about these subjects.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, go to class, and find someone to study with for the exams.
