    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor McGuire is an excellent professor who knows what he is talking about. He brings a sense of humor to the course that helped me learn and kept classes light. This was especially important in a class such as finance.

    Course highlights:

I learned an exceptional amount about the basics of finance and how to apply those principles in the business world. During the integrated core project, we spent time working through various equations and their real-world applications. It was a great way to learn the material and apply it to situations I might actually face in the business world some day.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this course, it is essential to visit Professor McGuire's office hours. He is a great help in one-on-one situations. Ask questions if you need help, or else you are sure to fall behind. Additionally, your core group will be your biggest help for this class. Make sure you stay on good terms with them, as they will become your best resource.
