Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is an engaging professor, as well as connects the textbook and his own personal spin on the topic to help students better understand what they are being asked to know

    Course highlights:

When studying sensation-seeking, he played video clips of Evel Knievel failing stunts, then getting right back up there to attempt them again. Demonstrating that some people seek a "rush" sensation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook early and often, if you memorize the material in the textbook you will do well on the exams

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is taught very well. Dr. Deb shares study techniques and goes into great detail of the subject during her lecture.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, you get a great foundation of all the knowledge you will need for a psych major or minor. With the information from this course, its will be less challenging for you to grow as a psych student in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use Deb's study plan!! I noticed a difference in test scores depending on whether or not I chose to use her study plan.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course really challenges an individual to open up their minds and think of many factors when looking at a situation.

    Course highlights:

That many people think in a multitude of ways. When conversing with someone, many times they do not interpret or understand in the same way that you believe you are communicating to them. In order to insure that a person indeed understands what you are trying to convey, it is a good practice to ask that person to repeat back to you the points that you wanted them to understand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes in class. Do not skip. The professor asks test questions based on the verbal information he provides which many times is not located within the book.
