This prof doesn't really allow discussion to travel where students take it, she directs discussion to go her way. I felt that both sides to each point weren't thoroughly evaluated.
I really was opened up to all of the discrimination that takes place in the U.S. Talking about these hot topics really put a lot into perspective. This was a very eye-opening course.

Advice for students:
The critical thinking questions and exams don't come right from the book. This prof wants to know what you are thinking, and give personal examples. Therefore, critical thought is actually required. Reading is definitely required for the exams though, because there is a specific direction to which you should write your essays.
