Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys a challenge. She has helped me a lot with writing papers and understanding what words to use and not to use. I enjoyed the different types of papers I wrote. There was about six papers and three of them were long, but entertaining.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were that Devenney were funky clothes and was herself at all times. She was just a person just like myself and the other students. She helped me personally learn to become a better writer overall. I was terrible at writing and figuring out a structure to every paper. However, she was always available to talk to. She would always give examples and when someone did not understand what she was teaching, she would teach and explain it another way for the other students to understand. She used her time wisely and was also fun to talk to.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My own personal advice would be to really study and do not be afraid of asking questions. There no such thing as a dumb question. Also, take a lot of time to really work on the papers and actually read what Devenney would give you because it really does help overall. Lastly, if you are having any issues, just go to her office hours. She really does take the time to listen and help you.
