    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because not only is the topic of choice appealing and insightful, but the course material is taught in such a way that everyone can easily comprehend. Professor Myers was very hands on with the class and easily accessible throughout the course of the year. Do expect weekly quizzes and readings, stay on top of your work and dont fear asking for help and you will do fine!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was watching professor Myers try and appeal to all forms of learning styles, he uses everything from video usage to class room hands on participation and even a little group work. Everyone knows lecture classes to be on the boring side of the learning demographic; but having a teacher whose passionate about the subject and your independent learning style is not only beneficial in the grading sense, but it also heightens the students personal point of view about the course matter.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to the incoming students taking this course is no different than that I would give for any new enrollee at Central Michigan University. Work hard and try your best. College is your chance to explore your options. You are going to enter a lot of intro classes throughout the course of the year, some just out of curiosity and some as a newfound career choice. I'm just asking that you don't be too quick to leap overy SOC 100 , because SOC major or not the course does offer a lot of entail into what is going on in today's society.
