    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was taken for a minor that I am no longer pursuing, but I really enjoyed it while I was taking it. It offers real life skills that are applicable outside the classroom.

    Course highlights:

The course flowed very well together over the course of the semester. The information is presented in a way that if you understand one concept, the rest build off of it. There are also set rules to how things are done, so you can stick to a set system without worrying about varying results.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a lot of work-most of which is done outside of class. This class can be easy if you really apply yourself and try to understand the basic foundation of it all in the very first few weeks. I worked hard and read the most in the very beginning, and the rest all flowed together really nicely. If you don't understand the basic concepts, though, things will progressively get harder and you will fall behind.

I recommend it if you only need it for your major.

I gained some basic information about accounting.

    Advice for students:

Always study and read the chapters. Always take notes and get a tutor. This course likes to throw curve balls at you. Try to attend the outside classes that help you review what you are learning. It helps alot.
