    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am majoring in Journalism, so this introductory course was very helpful. I learned a lot, but I also learned skills such as how to study more efficiently, the importance of participation, and much more. I also connected very well with this professor. He was a harsh grader, but we got along great and as long as I was putting forth the effort, he helped me. He ended up becoming my advisor and helped me sign my major.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about Journalism, from the very beginning when there was only newspapers, to all the technology now. I also learned that participating in class can either make or break your grade. This class and professor also helped me learn how to study efficiently, by going over previous test questions, reading specific parts of the book, and even meeting people to make study groups with.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend this class if you are going into, or considering going into, Journalism. It is a great way to see what the field is really about. The material is not that hard, but it's all the work and participation you have to put in that will get you the best grade possible.
