Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I woud recommend this course because this class gives you a in-depth perspective about the human mind and how it operates and responds to various situations. Dr. Gitter does a great job of breaking down the key components of psychology in a way that students can understand and does a thorough job of using examples are relevant to today's society.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the research opportunities that were presented to students. For instance, I had to go to a research lab and read several articles about suicide and answer questions about how I felt after reading them. I learn that the human mind is a complex structure with many components making it up.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that students need to make sure to keep up with the readings that are provided. It is also a good idea to utilize all of the resources that are provided on canvas, Dr. Gitter and the GTAs have given students an abundance of worksheets to practice your psychology knowledge if you are having trouble on a particular subject or topic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class. The material was exciting to learn about and the professor included multiple ways of learning and teaching that helped students learn and retain the information presented.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about psychology. We covered all the systems throughout the body and disorders in every system. The class was exciting and very informative.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make an effort to study every day. You will learn the material and be able to retain it if you go over it multiple times and space it out. People think cramming for exams is a good idea but if you can help it, space it out and learn it over time so you aren't overloaded with information you need to learn
