Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was phenomenal! Though there's quite a bit of reading Dr. Backman is a great lecturer and gives lots of extra credit! Would definitely recommend taking his class.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about demography and about many different cultures and countries. We talked about life and practices of peoples within countries including Germany, Japan, Namibia and many more. Dr. Backman does a great job of teaching the basics of sociology and this class really helps you get a basis for further studies (especially the vocabulary and basal concepts).

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read. There are only 5 homework assignments so the majority of your homework is to keep up with reading (more than half the test is from the reading). Although attendance is technically not required show up! beckman gives a ton of extra credit quizzes and you get a point each time you just show up. He also bases his grading curve on attendance to the more people who attend the easier it is to get good grades on exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was the easiest A I've had at auburn with that being said Angie was a fantastic teacher.

    Course highlights:

This is the intro to the study of social and cultural patterns of society.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Although this is an easy class you still have to put in work. That means go to class, take notes, and STUDY.
