Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You'll make an A in this course if you play your cards right!

    Course highlights:

Organisms of kingdom Plantae, Animalia, and Fungi specifically the phylums and phylum trees

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course you have all the answers to get an A, you just have to put in a little work. You never have to go to lecture but you'll have to go to lab and do a little bit of teaching yourself. Say you make an 80 on exam 1, a 75 on exam 2 , and a 70 on exam 3. If you make an 81 on the final exam, it will replace all 3 of those exam grades. All of his exams can be found on quilt or test banks and he gives you each exam to study from on canvas after you take them. THOSE ARE THE FINAL EXAM QUESTIONS. So, if you study those then you'll ace the final and make an A in the class! He also gives an absurd amount of extra credit.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bowling uses a "flipped classroom" method of teaching, so he posted his lecture slides online and expected you to come to class having already looked at the information. His lecture classes were used as a review period over the material that you should have already learned, so you have to make sure that you take time to teach yourself the material outside of class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the evolution of organisms and how different organisms are related to others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study material outside of class, before and after!
