    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Windell is a fantastic teacher. She really cares about her students and wants them to do well. She made this course enjoyable for me, just simply by being a good professor and making sure she was actually teaching, not just reading off a powerpoint. Most students in this class are not music majors and she knows that so she is not trying to blast you with information she knows will go over your head

    Course highlights:

I honestly learned a good bit in this course, even though I wasn't expecting to. I really enjoy big orchestra pieces, so the listening portion of class was actually fun for me. I know this might be torture for some, but I really like most of the pieces she played. It was also nice that she acknowledged when a song was bad, or hard to listen to which I feel like most professors wouldn't admit.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class because she does take attendance every day. If by chance one day she doesn't hand out the roll sheet and you decide to leave early, she will pass it out once you walk out. She is really sweet and really caring, but be nice to her. A lot of people in my class made fun of her and it didn't go well for them. Use your manners and treat her like a person, and she will the best professor you've ever had.
