    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very fair grader on papers, loves movie references so if you're a movie geek you should take advantage when you get him one-on-one.

    Course highlights:

You learn to break out of the five-paragraph essay structure, which is intimidating at first but none of the essays were difficult.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in class and do not use electronics. Participation grades factor into your final grade a good bit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. It's challenging but very rewarding.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is what you gain. You are taught to think for yourself and on your feet.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not procrastinate. Just don't.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, because it forces the student to go above and beyond a typical level one English course. This class forces students to engage and analyze articles in an intellectual way that leads to new ideas and opinions.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course was that we were taught how to rhetorically analysis academic articles and compare and contrast different viewpoints by the author's modes of persuasion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would encourage students to enter into this course with an open-mind. I think it is best to go into this class not thinking that you're writing is the best it can be, but instead, that there is always room for improvement.
