    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was pretty challenging. The class is point based and there isn't really room for error. Her teaching style is also pretty irritating.

    Course highlights:

Introduction to the study of social and cultural patterns of society. The first sociology class in the midst of them all.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just going over the notes was not enough for me so advise you go above and beyond

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is interesting and not at all challenging. Only 2 quizzes and 4 tests, and a couple of in class and out of assignments, not too much work

    Course highlights:

Highlighted the main sociology points, very interesting, disorders, diseases, human behavior, theories, learning abilities

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the online quizzes, make flashcards, go to class (Attendance counts- random attendance checks)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Backman is very knowledgable about sociology, and all of his quizzes and homeworks are out of 0.

    Course highlights:

The homework is not very difficult at all, and it's actually pretty interesting. You end up learning interesting things about where you're from and common views of the country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read all of the material because he does test on all of it. It's kind of a lot because it's from his notes and two books, but it is worth it to read it. If you stay on top of the reading, the course is super easy.
