    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a good class for learning the fundamentals of both using java and computer programming.

    Course highlights:

This course goes over the basics of java, as well as the basic principles that are standard throughout most object oriented programming.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is interesting and will teach you the basics of a useful skill that is computer programming. DO NOT go into this course expecting to spend very little time on it. The projects and labs are easy initially but they get harder and longer and you have to spend a lot of hours doing them in order to complete them by the deadline. The tests and quizzes aren't bad if you study. Reading the textbook is actually very helpful for this course.
