It was very informative and well delivered content. I learned so much when I took this course that I could write page upon page of information more people need to know. I didn't like the harvest labs, so if you have issues with blood then I suggest you ask for an alternative assignment. Overall, though, exams were pretty good and homework was straightforward. The extra credit for attendance was great too!
I have gained more talking points for when I'm faced with an individual in the meat science world. I know how regulated and safe the meat industry is now. Best part was learning the science to back proper cooking of meat.

Go to class! This is how you get the notes you need and the extra credit that's the icing on top. You don't really need the book, just a good laptop and printer for taking/printing notes.
