Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because the content is incredibly interesting. You will get to learn about many different peoples, cultures, and technological achievements throughout the ages.

    Course highlights:

I thoroughly enjoyed the set up of the class. Mondays were huge lectures while Wednesday and Friday were smaller class discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking with Dr. Laney, just make sure to do all of the work. Doing the work correctly early sets up an effective study guide for the final, which I found to be beneficial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a semi difficult course. It is a very interesting subject matter but the tests can be difficult if you don't fully understand the concepts. There is a good bit of reading to keep up on if you want to succeed but I think it's totally doable if you put your mind to it. I had Dr. Trimble as a professor. One thing I didn't like is that he never assigned homework. The only grades were from tests, quizzes, and attendance. If you're really interested in learning about technology and how it relates to civilization I would totally recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about different civilizations and how technology affected them. It was a very interesting course to me because I hadn't looked at civilization in that way before. I would recommend it if the subject matters interests you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the material even if it's super boring. Trust me, it will help you and you probably won't regret it. This is a major discussion based class and you want to know the material so you can give input. And study a lot for the tests. The essay portion is a huge part of your grade and you don't want that to hurt you.
