    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Extremely thoughtful and likable professor. Tells you what you need to know and not what you don't

    Course highlights:

It took to stay in top of things as I had TR class time, but Gorden used different presentations to appeal to all different learning styles. Used balloons and candy some days and enjoyed videos of things reacting greatly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work. It's not worth a letter grade to not do easy assigned work when you need all your room for tests.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself prepares you for Chem 1040 very well, but the teacher for this subject that I had was the worst and basically ruined a lot of students grades by teaching the Chem 1040 material in Chem 1030. Take the course , but find a different teacher

    Course highlights:

I learned material that spanned from periodic trends to how give an in depth explanation of electrons and their configuration!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard Don't miss classes Read The material Do your aleks ahead of time Pay attention to in class conversations Build connections with friends in that class because it will be needed comebtest time!
