This class was tough.
Course Overview:
If you don't need this class don't take it if you are not good at math. I had to take this to declare my business major and it was terrible.
Course highlights:
The entire class is based on derivatives (solving them) not graphing.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Stone gives a lot of study guides and homework which are necessary if you need practice.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Stone is probably the best busi cal teacher, the subject is hard but at the end of the semester youll be happy you had her because she makes the final exams for everyone.
Course highlights:
This course was allll about derivatives so I hope you know something if anything about what a derivative is I had no idea.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
Study in advance. If she gives any practice problems do them. You'll never see the exact problem twice but I guarantee there will be similarities.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Definitely struggled to get a B in this class, I'm usually good at math but this was not like any intro I have ever taken before since I was a transfer there was no way I could have known my pre calculus would be so different from Auburn's.
Course highlights:
The main thing you do in this course is derivatives, there is one section of actual business math but that is it.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Keep all your exams, do all your at home quizzes, utilize every study guide uploaded on canvas it will help in the long run.
