    Who Cares?

    Definition:

Writing is not about you, but about your reader. Will anyone want to read this when you are done? This question must be addressed before you start. Every reader wants to know “what’s in it for me?” In fiction the answer is escape or entertainment. In non-fiction it’s learning something important to the reader. In class, your professor wants to know you’ve learned information, and can explain it creatively in your own words. Everything you write should have a take-away.

    • There is no such thing as "good writing,' only good re-writing.

    Proper Writing Form

    Definition:

Like an athlete who steps to the free throw line with the right form, or a PGA golfer who learns to “address the ball” properly, your stance improves your likelihood of success. If you follow these five rules, your writing will necessarily improve. These four rules will keep you out of Never Never Land because you will be eliminating your “bad form.”
