    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any business student. Not only was it required for my degree it also helped me in my personal life on how to balance my income ratio.

    Course highlights:

I like the project that we had to complete. I learned the key functions of basic accounting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Once the final project is available to work on start it. The final project is complex and it takes many hours to complete don't cut yourself short and not give the project the time it deserves.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. This instructor is highly knowledgeable and is very focused on her students. She works with her students to make sure they are learning each concept fully. The book is very informative and clear. The assignments are easy to use and have many help menus and study tools. This class is geared toward business accounting and is made up of the concepts used throughout the business world. It is interesting and has many illustrations to help students to understand how the concepts are used outside the classroom.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were a focus on beginning Accounting. This class starts at the very beginning with the accounting equation which is the basics of accounting. It then branches out and shows how to perform other tasks and how these fit within the accounting equation. I learned to journal transactions, post them to ledgers, then create the needed reports to complete the Accounting cycle. Each step was well illustrated and correlated with the next step. The explanations were clear and easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to use all the resources made available to you. There are study guides, flash cards, accounting forms, and the textbook. Don't be afraid to ask questions. The purpose of taking any class is to learn. If you don't understand one concept, the next one may not make sense. It is better to ask questions and learn to do things properly, than to learn things the wrong way and end up being lost.
