    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This appears to be a required course for all majors, so I can't really recommend it as an elective or anything. I do recommend finding out your instructors teaching/assignment style. Some teachers have you turn in pages from the loose-leaf book.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches basic accounting principles. It's like balancing a checkbook....while balancing several other checkbooks. It's not too difficult if you are putting in the time (whether listening to lecture in class or doing extra problems outside of class), but the work can be tedious and time-consuming.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the book from a friend/previous student. Do NOT buy new if you don't have to. The online code you have to purchase will have an ebook, but that can be difficult to navigate. Beware, some teachers will want you to use sheets from the book. The book has no resell value when bought as a loose-leaf. Some people have found buying the physical book completely useless. The cengage online assignments are nice with a Show Me How section when you get stuck.
