Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For those who want to go into any career related to research, this is a good prep class for writing in APA--publishing in this format helps the author seem credible within this community. Overall this class focuses on researching (using proper sources) and formulating a written argument in APA. The Purposeful Argument (required reading) gives a good outline on how to formulate this argument in your paper, as well as how to properly address the counter-argument. This class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of your papers.

    Course highlights:

In this class you will learn how to write APA research papers, along with finding tools to research and make a thorough argument.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to talk in class. The instructor loves to have class discussion and hear opinions to help formulate appropriate arguments that help with writing. Many times it will seem like a "debate" class, but remember to look at it all in terms of how this can apply to writing and APA argument. If you need time for a paper, ask for an extension and he will give it to you--just don't use this as an excuse to put things off until last minute.

    Course Overview:

Overall I enjoyed the course. However, my professor was not the clearest at teaching it, causing me to have to put many extra hours in by myself.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:
