    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this course with this Professor is because she struggles teaching. She has a hard time teaching her students how to succeed. She has a lot of knowledge she just moves to fast without wanting to help her students

    Course highlights:

I didn't find this class very helpful. Thankfully with my school tutoring center and my Fathers help I was able to not fail the class. I learned how to deal with Professors that aren't the greatest.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have Mrs. Matthews as your Professor don't give up. Keep asking questions and try to learn the material. Watch out the test are not what she preps you on, they are out of the blue stuff you haven't gone over yet within the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class, especially for returning adults, as it is a quick review of everything and even certain new things that you took in High School. I am now in Math 125 and I am very grateful to have had the chance to take this course first to get a refresher.

    Course highlights:

To me the highlight of this course was my professor, she was absolutely amazing. She always made time for me when I needed to have a one on one session. She made questions dummy proof so that I could understand it better than the eBook would. I learn so many tricks of the trade from her that I am now able to use in the next class Math 125. I learned to take my time and really work through the problems and to DOUBLE check my work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE IT!! Even if you are right out of high school this course will be a great refresher, but it will also help you prepare for the Math classes ahead that you will/might need to take. I was at first upset because I had to pay for the class when I was not even able to take my grade towards my GPA. In the end, I was grateful that I did take it because it is helping me so much in my current math class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It has been a long time since I was in high school so I needed a refresher course with the basic math. I took this as an online class and I thought that the teacher did a great job of helping us work through problems that we struggled with but at the same time aloud us to work at our own pace.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was being able to get the refresher course that I needed without spending too much time on the same areas. We covered a lot of materials in seven weeks but I thought that it was at a perfect pace. We started out with the very basics and in each new chapter just would build on those concepts. This course helped not make the idea of algebra seem so overwhelming.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If math is not one of your strongest areas I would definitely take this course. Just make sure to keep your work organized and take advantage of the study plan that the online class offers. It lets you practice the covered materiel and get help on the areas that you struggle with.
