    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is very challenging! If you are going into the medical/science field it is important that you re strong in this subject! It requires a lot of studying and dedication.

    Course highlights:

    On of the main highlights of this course was that it allowed me to learn how to relate two concepts. Organic chemistry was full of putting different molecules and compunds together to for something new. After this course, I can analyze two or more concepts and see how they relate and produce product.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study! Study! Study! If you don't understand a concept then ask your professor for help? If you're too shy then you should get a peer tutor to help. Study groups are also recommended!

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Friedrich breaks things down into simple steps so that his students can understand! He is also very helpful during office hours.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course was learning different mechanisms such as, substitution, elimination, etc. I also learned a lot of functional groups that are important for people interested in health care.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would advise students to start early with studying so you can ask questions about the things you do not know before an exam. I would also recommend getting the book or find resources online that can give you practice or further explain things.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Mio puts in the work to allow you to do excellent in the class, as long as you put in the same amount of effort (with a little more outside of class)

    Course highlights:

    You will learn everything from nomenclature to beginning organic reactions. Exams are tough but they are collaborative which helps you to learn more of the information more thoroughly.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the worksheets as they are handed out, or as soon as possible. It makes studying significantly easier.
