    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very challenging course, however Tanabe- sensei's teaching methods sets a more serene mood for the class. Also he's a student teacher who isn't much older than the students so he's able to relate better and put concepts into ways we would understand. The students also interact with each other during class everyday in activities. This allows you to not only make new friends but also have partners to speak to.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be all of the friends I was able to make. Coming in as a freshman in college can be difficult, especially if you don't know anyone. However in this course everyone has to communicate with each other and work together. While doing this you learn so much about them primarily due to the fact in this course you are mostly taught how to ask questions about likes, interest, hobbies, and more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My only advice to give new students is not to be afraid to say that you don't understand. It's not a bad thing to not understand, in fact the teachers want you to ask questions and not only would they help you but also your peers will too.
