Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because public speaking is something we all have to do and something that we all hate and fear. Getting tips and learning how to do it properly gives you tools for the future and makes you more confident.

    Course highlights:

I learned that presentation is the most important part. If you feel unconfident then that is how you will appear. If you feel confident and present yourself properly then you will look like you know what you're doing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

PRACTICE! Practice your speeches before you give them. Do not under any circumstances "wing it." That is the quickest way to lose confidence and look ridiculous when you're shuffling through notecards to figure out what to say next.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is really helpful in giving advice on how to be effective in public speaking. There were really thorough tips on many aspects of speaking and it really helped to get over any fears of public speaking that one may have.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were giving the speeches, but with less speech anxiety. I learned many different ways to manage my speech anxiety, how to write a few different types of speeches, and how to build credibility to the audience for a speech.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to the lectures and that you read the book. The book gives really good advice on how to manage speech anxiety and how to help write a speech.
