Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I don't think this course was particularly special. It is an entry level Biology lecture and lab combination course. It met twice a week for lecture, and once a week for lab. The material reminded me of a high school biology course and was presented in a slide show and lecture format. Students were expected to take notes and ask questions. Lecture material related to the lab material for the corresponding week.
For me, this class was more of a review of the biology I had taken in high school. We learned about plants, animal kingdoms, and basic human body functions, among other topics. I learned that it was helpful to take notes and organize them well for this course because there was a lot of information covered in the lectures. I would estimate about 3 - 5 hours of studying/homework for the lecture and lab each week.

Advice for students:
I would advise studying first by yourself and then with another classmate or group of people. Flashcards also helped me to remember terms. I would try my absolute best to never miss a lab, because often the activities can not be made up.
