    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Although public speaking is a huge fear for a lot of people, I highly recommend taking this course with Cami. She makes everyone comfortable and does a great jo making herself available to help you in any way you need it. All speeches are only 4-6 minutes and you always get to pick the topic.

    Course highlights:

During this course I learned so much about how to address an audience, when to use visual aid, and how to carry oneself while speaking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing for this course is going to class and not waiting until the last minute to prepare your speech. You will feel much more relaxed and get a better grade if you practice your speech beforehand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course made me much more confident when explaining something that I care about, or even things that I don't care about, to people who may know nothing about the subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned that most people are not naturally great public speakers. Public speaking takes a lot of out of class preparation but it is worth it in the long run because it can be applied to everyday situations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared! Everyone else is just as nervous as you will be when they give their first speech, but it gets easier and much more comfortable as it goes on. Trust me, no one is going to laugh at you unless you make a joke up there.
