    I recommend the course with the professor. Chemistry is a necessity in my major and when I took it with Dr. Thangiah it changed my view on chemistry,

    Course highlights:

    The highlight for me were electron configuration

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study thoroughly over and over again no matter how much you think you've understood it. Memorization is key.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because Dr. Thomas makes Chemistry fun and engaging! The tests are not hard and he provides you with detailed study materials!

    Course highlights:

    I gained a greater appreciation for the study of Chemistry. I learned about the elements and their configurations, the periodic table, and the real-world applications of Chemistry! I found this course to be very interesting!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely read the textbook thoroughly, answering the questions throughout each chapter. Also answer the questions at the end of each chapter that are recommended by Dr. Thomas. Study with a friend, too! It helps to talk about the material and explain why/how you get the answers you get!

    She is an outstanding teacher and she makes it super fun to learn.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to mix different types of chemicals together and learned if I did not have the right numbers from my equation my chemical reaction would be wrong.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study hard and take notes in class and you will do fine.
