Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Bates is definitely respected by his students!

    Course highlights:

This is micro econ but intermediate so more in depth than the intro so I hope you paid attention the first time around.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review some of your older material because bates doesn't waist anytime reviewing he wants you to basically remember what you learned before but that does not mean he won't help you. You can always attend office hours for extra help!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was entirely out of my skillset--I'm an English/Theatre major who needed electives and wanted to branch out and try something new. This material did not come naturally to me, but my professor helped me through the class as best he could and I learned so much more than I expected. Even though this course may bring my GPA down slightly, I don't regret the experience in the slightest. Learning to be gracefully unsuccessful is as important as learning to succeed.

    Course highlights:

The basics of microeconomics--supply and demand, the beginnings of what goes into a sound business decision, surplus and deadweight loss calculations, and understanding the behavior of businesses.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours, they can only help you. Do your homework, it was assigned with your success in mind.
