    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I believe that the English 101 course was a very exciting and interesting class to take. With the professor that I had, the class became very fun and enjoyable - a class that I looked forward to every morning. Everyday, students are required to write a paper (usually one page) on the given topic or idea. The frequent changing of topics allows students to explore new viewpoints, ideas, and content. It is a required class for pretty much all students (at GRCC), but it is still a course worth noting about.

    Course highlights:

Looking back at the class, I do remember that we would have different English lessons in the beginning of the hour. Most were grammatical and punctuation lessons. However, I am more entrapped in the writing portion of the class. I learned how to write about a variety of different topics, and had to sometimes dig deep for the emotion and meaningfulness that my papers needed. Not all of the assignments were "surface writings" (writings that require little thought or personal experiences). A good portions required my class and I to actually think and add our own emotions into it. The class allows people to become more well-rounded in writing ideas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend that students stay focused and put thought into their writings. Each paper is graded the day it is assigned (unless class time is almost over; the professor let us finish at home), so it is important to use the time in class very wisely. The course, obviously, has a lot of writing required, so if writing is not a strong-suit for some people, then they may want to start practicing a little. With the content learned in class, all students will be able to improve their writings as a whole, but they have to be willing to work for it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed going into class, and looked forawrd to writing the new paper.

    Course highlights:

Though I'm not the best at poetry, I had fun trying to discover new words an phrases to use.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't write your essay the night before, just do you assignments when they are assigned.
