Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class with this professor is an experience I will never forget. Every person in the class has a nickname, including the professor, and she tries to encourage an interactive atmosphere. The one caution I would give, however, is to do the reading. It really does help a lot because not all test materials are taught in class, but they are all in the book!

    Course highlights:

The atmosphere and friendly environment were definitely the highlights of the course for me, as well as the professor's efforts to make all examples used in class relevant to modern news. I learned all of the basic terminology for a career in public or nonprofit administration.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please please please read the book! Also, ask questions in class and make a good relationship with the professor. She really wants students to do well and will do her best to help you if you need it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is great (for the most part). She knows her stuff, buys food for the class, and is very flexible and understanding. I do caution, however, that she can be a little harsh when you answer incorrectly in class.

    Course highlights:

Everyone in the class had nicknames based on some fun fact that they shared at the beginning of the semester. This improved the group dynamic and made the class much more laid back and interactive.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! The exams are pretty easy and are all outside of class, but reading the book makes them fly by much quicker and you better learn the material.
