    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Leonard is extremely intelligent but also conveys the information very well. You take in a large amount of information but it sets you up for 462 very well. The worksheets take a lot of time but are quite helpful when it comes to the tests. I took a graduate level biochem class and knew the information for at least the first half of the semester!

    Course highlights:

The progression of the course is very logical. You learn structures and then functions and then you put it all into the bigger picture, the human body. It links things from cell biology to physiology and obviously chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Dr. Leonard is the more difficult professor but in the end the extra work is 100% worth it. It makes not only 462 easier but future classes easier as well. If 461 is as high of a chemistry as you need to take and you just need a good grade then feel free to take it with someone else.
