Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was very educating, as well as fun because part of our grade was to attend 3 concerts and then write a paper on one of them. The concerts had to be pre-approved, but they were still really fun to got to and very entertaining. Especially to someone who rarely gets out and does things. It was really an amazing experience

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely going to the concerts. As well as learning about the instruments; what they looked like and sounded like. Then when you were at the concert try to match the sound to the instrument and name the ones on the stage. I enjoyed being able to experience this very much!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely take it if you want to learn more on musical period. Or if you were once in band and what a class that still connects you to that I would highly consider this class. You learn so many knew things as well as a few you may have known already. People find this type of music boring, classical, baroque, opera ect. however professor Swantek really helps you to enjoy it and you will find that you love it more than you originally thought.
