Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was the best class I have ever taken. Wesley was such an awesome prof and really connected to us on a personal level. I felt so comfortable in his classroom and was able to really input my opinion into our class discussions.

    Course highlights:

This class explored the philosophical connection to music. We learned to listen to musical pieces with a more critical and analytic ear to be able to truly connect with and understand the piece. I learned how to think of music beyond the realm of whether or not it was pleasant and catchy. Because of this course, every song I listen to sounds differently and I learned to appreciate it so much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class involves a lot of writing. You have to learn quickly how to say a lot in very few words. Every essay has a very tight word limit and you really learn to cut the fluff. Wesley grades pretty tough so you have to take his comments on your papers seriously.
