    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took it as a hybrid-online course and I loved it! The mostly online format allowed me to work on the class at my own pace and this class required almost all memorization, so sitting in a class would not have helped my learning. I made lots of flashcards to use while I was in between other lectures or while eating lunch.

    Course highlights:

I learned lots of terminology that assisted in a lot of my other classes later in my education career. Since, this class has helped in my job at a hospital. This class also taught me to do self-guided learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I made lots and lots of note cards with the prefix or suffix on one side and the definition on the other side. I also found a study app to download on my phone to help with pronunciations and a quick way to study if I did not have my note cards with me.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an incredibly difficult class but it teaches so much information. I have never learned such a great amount of information in such a short amount of time. I found the topic very interesting and have begun applying it to the way I look at my life. I can now help others learn about illnesses and different parts of the body and their technical terms.

    Course highlights:

I learned thousands of medical terms ranging from illnesses to body cavities. I learned functions of body parts and how the prefix, word roots, and suffixes all combine to make a variation of different words. I learned how to determine what a medical term inferred by simply looking at the suffix.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! This class is extremely intense and if you don't devote the correct amount of time to your work you won't get the grade that you want. This is stuff that you have to spend a good amount of time to get it to stay in your head for more than a few seconds.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is very easy, all of the tests are online. There are weekly 10 question spelling tests but they aren't difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the prefixes and suffixes for medical terminology. It was an interesting class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the hybrid version or take it with Bailey, she is nice and helpful and makes it easier.
