Meetings Outside of Class
This class was tough.
This course is required for education majors, but I think everyone should take it. It is so important to be aware of the way children develop, and how the tiniest things in one's infancy could potentially have a huge bearing in their adult life.
This course equipped me with a base of knowledge that I can apply almost anywhere; I can now more fully understand how my baby cousin is developing and take steps to accommodate this development. I can also use this course as a starting point were I to pursue a career working with children. Whether or not you intend to work with children in your professional career, it will only benefit you to have this information at your fingertips when dealing with children in your personal life.

Advice for students:
This is not a class you should skip if you can help it. We all have those classes, but this is not that class. There is so much information to learn, and even with a full semester, my class barely made it to the finish line. Know your most effective note-taking strategy and use it well in this class. We didn't use the book much, but it helped to keep up with the information presented in lectures.
